About Our Club
Welcome to the Rotary Club of Wheaton!
Since 1959, our club has brought together people from across the Wheaton area who want to give back, stay connected to the community, and make a difference both locally and beyond.
Our members come from a variety of professions and backgrounds, but we share a common goal: putting service into action.
What We Do
Throughout the year, the Rotary Club of Wheaton supports a variety of local and international projects. Our work has included:
- Providing scholarships and educational support for local students
- Supporting veterans through programs and special events
- Participating in local service projects throughout the Wheaton community
- Supporting literacy and youth programs
- Helping provide clean water in communities around the world
- Supporting Rotary International’s ongoing effort to eradicate polio
We also enjoy opportunities to work alongside other local organizations, schools, volunteers, and community partners.
More Than Service
Rotary is also about connection.
Our weekly meetings give members a chance to hear from interesting guest speakers, learn more about what is happening in our community, exchange ideas, and build friendships.
Some members join because they want to volunteer. Others are looking for a way to become more involved in Wheaton, meet new people, or use their professional experience to help others. For many of us, it ends up being a little bit of all of those things.
Part of Something Bigger
The Rotary Club of Wheaton is part of Rotary International, a worldwide network of people working together to strengthen communities, promote peace, support education, improve health, and create lasting change.
While Rotary reaches around the world, much of what we do starts right here in Wheaton.
